Hey can you tell me hoe to give password to my printer because I need to restricted some pc to give print but the problem is the end user have Linux and the printer connected pc has windows xp so suggest me what can I do.

Actually In the new laser printer there is its features that you give password to printer but if you have old then you give just rights to user the printing allowed or not.

I think Its a depends upon you to restrict the user and how much rights to gives the users. Networking engineer can gives the better and proper answer for this. You can set the rights for particular users using new laser printer.
